The safari includes the famous Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara National Reserve. Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the two premium parks in Kenya. It is well reckoned for its rare rhinos, predator sightings, waterfalls, and wildlife. It is also a bird paradise with picturesque landscapes that you will surely not want to miss out.
On the other hand, the largest national reserve in Kenya, Maasai Mara National Reserve, hosts a variety of animals. It is home to many birds and flora species. This includes the Big Five members and the wildebeests among many others because it is the largest national reserve. The reserve is also famous. It has been voted as one of the “7 Wonders of the World.” This award is due to the migration of around 1.3 million wildebeests to and from the Maasai Mara-Serengeti Ecosystem. Can you believe it? This usually happens every year between July and early October in consideration of the season. You will get to enjoy all these experiences.

DAY BY DAY
Early in the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel/ the Airport and after a short briefing, you will depart Nairobi for Lake Nakuru National Park. You will then make a quick stop over at the Great Rift Valley View Point for a picturesque view of the stunning rift valley that cuts across most countries in the East Africa region. You will also enjoy the views of Mount Longonot a stratovolcano located in the southeast of Lake Naivasha. As soon as you arrive, you will have an en-route game drive as you head to your lodge. On arrival, you will check in as you have your lunch. You will later venture in an afternoon game drive into this stunning park. The park boosts over 500 bird species including the iconic flamingos which makes the lake renamed the” pink lake”. It is also a favourite destination for travellers seeking to spot the rare rhinos in their natural habitat. Lake Nakuru is home to both the square-lipped/white rhinos and the black rhinos and apart from the rhinos, you will also get to see the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. You will then head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

You will begin your day with an early game drive as you get to see the predators such as the lions and the leopards at their active status and other species such as the white and black colobus monkey, velvet monkey, hyena, and waterbuck among others. You will get also to enjoy the unique vegetation including the biggest euphorbia forest in Africa, the yellow acacia woodlands, and picturesque views from viewpoints such as Lion Hill and the Baboon Cliff.

After breakfast, you will then embark on a journey heading to Maasai Mara where you will first make a quick stop over at Narok town for those seeking to use the bathrooms, and then you will proceed straight to your lodge where you will check in as you get to have your lunch. After a siesta, you will then begin an afternoon game drive whereby your driver will help you to track down the nocturnal species as they do their hunting as it is the optimum time to see them easily as same as early in the morning. Later on, you will head back for your dinner and overnight.

Following an early breakfast, you will arise as the sun rises and depart for an early game drive, returning to your accommodation place at mid-morning. After lunch, you will then set off for yet another game drive in the vast plains of the reserve filled with different wild species such as the Big Five members which are the lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos leopards, crocodiles, hippos, gazelles, the wildebeests which are mostly around 1.3 Million and which do tend to migrate from Kenya to Tanzania and forth holding a world record of being a Wonder of the World and other species including the flora and bird species for the bird lovers. There would also be an optional visit to a Maasai Village or a Balloon Safari at extra charges for an aerial view tour of this stunning reserve and its diversity. You will later proceed back to your lodge for relaxation as you have your dinner and spend your time.

On this day you will then head for Kenya’s famous Maasai Mara National Reserve which is highly recognized not only for the migration of any number of wildebeests but for the migration of over 1.3 million wildebeests every year and also being one of the few destinations in Kenya to harbour all of the Big Five members among other species and flora. You will first make a quick stopover at Narok town, for those who will be in seek to use the bathroom and then head to your lodge where after checking in and having a moment of relaxation as you enjoy your lunch, will then have an evening game drive. During this game drive you will be lucky enough to encounter most of the predators as mostly during the day are hard to find them active. You will then head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
