BEST TIME TO VISIT
The Best Time to Visit Nyungwe Forest National Park is during the dry season, from June to September and December to February. These months provide clearer skies and easier access to the park’s trails and trekking routes. During the dry season, wildlife is more active, and trekking conditions are more comfortable.
However, Nyungwe is a year-round destination. The wet season (March to May and October to November) brings lush, green scenery and fewer visitors, making it a quieter time to visit. The wet season is also a great time for birdwatching, as migratory species arrive.
