A 5 Day Magical Kenya Safari. Safari takes you to the most adventurous and calm parks. It is a Kenyan Safari that combines great landscape views, superb wildlife spotting, and rich African culture. Samburu National Reserve lies on the fringes of the vast and arid desert once known as the Northern Frontier District. The heat-scorched scrublands extend to the jade-green waters of Lake Turkana and beyond.
Samburu National Reserve diverse fauna includes rare Grevy Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, African Elephants, Lion, and Cheetahs. Lake Nakuru National Park is found at the foot of the great rift valley. It has an elevation of 1754 meters above sea level. The park is home to stunning flocks of lesser and greater Flamingos. These flamingos turn the Lake-shores into a magnificent pink stretch. This is the only park you are assured of seeing Rhinos both black and white. Lake Naivasha is the largest freshwater lake.
It is fringed by lush forests of yellow-backed acacia trees. The lake is overlooked by the ranged-edged of the volcanic Mount Longonot on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. It is home to about 400 species of birds. Wildlife including Giraffes, hippos, and waterbuck also live here. Nonetheless, the main attraction is the bird life, which is best observed on a boat ride.

DAY BY DAY
Drive northwards through the farmlands of the Kikuyu people to reach Mt. Kenya and the small town of Nyeri in time for lunch. In the early afternoon, drive Through the forest to your tree hotel, where the night is spent above the floodlit water hole and salt lick.
Frequent visitors are Elephants, Rhinos, Buffalo, and Giraffe Forest hogs overnight at tree hotel.
After breakfast continue northwards, skirting the massive of Mt. Kenya, to reach Samburu National Reserve for lunch. In the afternoon a game drive affords the opportunity to see certain northern species of game not seen south of the equator.
These include the resplendent reticulates Giraffe, Gray’s Zebra and the Somalia ostrich overnight at a lodge or in the camp in the reserve
During the days spent exploring the reserve you will almost certainly see the graceful reticulated Giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, Elephants, and the Oryx perhaps the origin of the legend of the unicorn overnight at your lodge camp.
After breakfast drive to lake Nakuru stopping en route for a brief look at the magnificent Thompson’s falls where the waters of Ngare Naro cascade in a sheer drop of 73m.
Lunch at Nakuru before visiting the world-famous bird sanctuary and National Park where the sight of a million or more flamingoes has been described by sir peter Scott as the world`s greatest bird spectacle.
There is also much game to be seen before spending the night in a lodge or camp in the park or before driving on to spend the night at Lake Naivasha.
After breakfast, a relaxing look at the beautiful lake Naivasha richly endowed with birds (they are over 460 species) before returning to Nairobi Which Is to arrive by lunchtime.
