12 Days Kenya Uganda Rwanda Safari

This first day of your safari entail the long 5 to 6 hours drive from Kenya capital Nairobi city to Masai mara game reserve. Our guide will pick you up from Nairobi Kenya airport or your place of stay. You will be arriving in masai mara in time for lunch. Then later in the evening you will proceed for your evening game drive. Later dinner and overnight at Serena lodge.

You will be up early to an amazing breakfast at your place of accommodation and after you will head out for a day filled with game drive through masai mara game reserve. In this park expect to see lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes and among others. You will have break to refresh and have lunch at your own convenience and the whole game drive will finish at 5 pm. After game drive you will head to your place of accommodation for dinner and overnight.

You will be up early to an amazing breakfast at your place of accommodation and after you will head out for a day filled with game drive through masai mara game reserve. You will be up early, have breakfast and then check out of your accommodation. You will then head to the airstrip to catch your flight to Uganda with a stop over at Kisumu for your migration clearance. You will arrive in Uganda in the afternoon in Entebbe international airport in mid- morning, go through the checks and you will be net by our guide. Then you will go for your lunch and after head to Kampala for a mini city tour, after head to your place of accommodation for dinner and overnight.

You will be up early for your breakfast, check out of your accommodation and embark on the 4 to 5- hour drive to kibale national park. You will arrive in fort Portal town in the early afternoon, where you will get some lunch, then after proceed for a tour to king’s palace and the Amabere caves. After the tour, you will then head to kibale national park, where you arrive in about 39 minutes, check in into your place of accommodation, freshen up, have dinner and overnight.

You will be up early in the morning have breakfast t your place of accommodation and then head to the parks headquarters for trekking briefing session about what to expect during the chimpanzee trekking experience plus the guidelines. You will then head to the forest with your trekking guide to find the chimpanzees. You will spend one hour with the Chimpanzees but the entire experience will take about 4 hours of trekking, you will then go to your accommodation for lunch and afternoon chill. If you are up to it you will have a nature walk in the park to visit the craters. You will have dinner and a night rest at your accommodation.

You will check out of your accommodation after having your breakfast at your place of accommodation then head to Queen Elizabeth National Park you will check in the early afternoon. In Queen Elizabeth National Park you will head to Kazinga Channel for a thrilling boat cruise that will take you down the water channel and give you an opportunity to see numerous water birds and animals. After the boat cruise, you will head to your accommodation for dinner and overnight rest.

Be up by 5 am, have a morning snack and then head out for a morning game drive in the park to see the parks diverse wildlife including tree- climbing lions, zebras, impalas, kobs, and warthogs among others.
Transfer to Bwindi: Your drive will end at around 12 pm, you will head back to your place of accommodation for your lunch and then check out and continue south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will arrive in Bwindi in the evening, Check into your accommodation for you dinner and overnight.

Gorilla Trekking: You will wake up early in the morning for your breakfast and be at the parks offices by 7 am for a gorilla trekking briefing session. At the session, you will learn more about the trek and then you will be assigned a ranger who is armed and will lead your group of 8 into the forest to find the mountain gorillas. The entire experience will take up to 7 hours with one hour spent with the mountain gorillas; after your trekking experience, you will head back to your accommodation to refreshen up, have a late lunch and then relax for the evening. If you wish to take a community walk around the park to see the different cultures of the people that live around the park. You will have dinner and overnight at your place of accommodation.

Transfer to lake Bunyonyi: You will wake up early have your breakfast at your place of accommodation and after check out. You will then go further south to Lake Bunyonyi where you will arrive in the mid-morning. You will check into your Accommodation, and then take a nature walk near the lake area. Afetr the nature walk, you will have lunch and after lunch, you will go canoeing on the lake to explore the 29 Islands on the lakes as you watch the beautiful birds. After the canoeing experience, you will head back to your place of accommodation, for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Nyungwe: After having breakfast you will, check out of the accommodation and then head to Kigali in Rwanda. You will be in Kigali in the mid-morning, have a brief snack and then continue south to Ngungwe National park having lunch en – rout. You will be in Nyungwe National park in the evening, Check into your accommodation, have dinner and overnight.

Canopy walk: You will wake up early in the morning for your breakfast at your place of accommodation and after breakfast joins the other people for a 2 hour canopy walk on top of the great Nyungwe forest.
Departure: After the walk, you will check out of your accommodation and embark on a journey back to Kigali with lunch en route. You will arrive in Kigali in the evening and the guide will drop you at a location of your choice within Kigali. End of 12 Days Safari in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda.
